No matter your career goal, our Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors will strive to make that goal a reality. We will help you isolate your career interest based on what you want to do within your physical capacities and your skills. Then we will help you package yourself to get the job. This includes job search skills training, resume development, job leads and career counseling and most importantly, JOB placement!

Career Counseling: Our Counselors will help you figure out what you like most to do and what it is you can do. Based upon your unique talents and interests combined with our knowledge of the job market, together we will determine a plan to get the right job for you.

Job Training: This is where you develop skills for the job that you may not have yet. Training can take place on the job, at college or vocational school, or in a specialized setting.

Job Placement: Once we know what job you're ready for, we need to get you the job! Our Placement Specialists devote themselves to getting you that job. We have extensive in-house resources, Internet job search sites and employer leads. We know the Portland/Vancouver job market and will call employers to find the right match for you. We also have quick access to job trends, job openings, hiring needs, and turnover rates. You can expect quick responsiveness and cost-effective job placement when you work with us.

Job Coaching: Learning the duties of a new job can be difficult especially with the challenges of a new setting. As your Job Coach, we learn the job duties alongside you and together master the skills. Your employer gains a trained employee and you gain the confidence to remain successful on the job.

Job Readiness: You have a job goal and we have potential employers to call. Now, the next step is to get you ready for that interview! We help you with the application, prepare a resume, and teach you tips and role-play to help you make a positive first impression with a new employer. We can accompany you to the interview and will support you through the entire hiring process and beyond…
