Quick Tips For Mouse Placement

How you use your mouse, the size of your
mouse and the placement all affect your comfort level.
Tips
for Mouse Placement:
The best arrangement for a mouse is
the same height as the keyboard home row keys. Arrange
the keyboard and mouse to be at elbow height or slightly below. The best size is fitting the mouse to the inside of your palm.
A good arrangement is placed on a
mouse pad to the side of the keyboard.
The worst arrangement is on the desk
out to the side and above of the keyboard. Avoid reaching beyond
more than 15" in front or the side.
Other
Suggestions for correct Mouse use:
Avoid gripping the mouse tightly.
Change body and hand positions frequently.
Learn to relax your hand often.
Replace a mouse with a correct size Trackball.
Allow up to 3 weeks to adjust to using the Trackball.
