Life Care Planning
Life Care Planning is a process of comprehensive
analysis that provides detailed assessment of all present and future
medical treatment needs, equipment, living arrangements and services
required to achieve and maintain an optimal quality of life. A Life
Care Plan may be needed due to a catastrophic personal injury
or illness, or a congenital or natural-caused debilitating illness.
Life Care Planning can be a
valuable benefit and resource to a company's employees in helping
them cope with loved ones. A Life Care Plan lets the individual
and families know what will be necessary to continue a comfortable
life. Businesses, in conjunction with their disability insurance
companies, can use Life Care Plans to set claims reserves, plan
future claims costs and for comparison of medical treatment plans.
A Life Care Plan takes the guesswork out of the liability process
and helps businesses reduce claims settlements through objective
documentation.
